Cost is a BIG factor when thinking about joining us for this year’s Summit, we completely understand. We’ve worked hard to subsidize the registration fee. In fact, we’ve brought it down to $320. If you’re interested in fundraising for the Summit check out the resources below.   • Reach out to your Parents:
    As you and your parents think about whether to attend the Youth Venture Summit, we suggest that you read through the following letter. We know that this can be a difficult decision. However, we believe that the Summit is an important step in your journey towards growing at a changemakers. This letter talks about its value.
  • Reach out to your Community:
    Your community can be an important source of support both for you and your Venture. To find how you can better leverage your community to enable you to attend the Summit and grow as a changemaker, check back soon for our 2012 Summit Fundraising Guide
  • 20 Creative Fundraising Ideas:
    Fundraising is not all about asking people for money, there is much more to it! Read through this document to discover 20 creative ways to fundraise the money you need for you and your team to attend the Youth Venture Summit 2012!
  • Fundraise on Facebook
    Post your pitch to your network and see the dollars roll in. There are a few apps on the market, but we really like FundRazr for its simplicity – you just need a Paypal account to start it up. Any approach is going to have some fees, so do some research before jumping in!
  • Crowdfund it!
    Crowdfunding is getting a lot of attention these days, and there a dozens of crowdfunding sites that allow you to create a goal and ask people to contribute.
    We’re big fans of StartSomeGood and ThePoint.com. SSG allows you to upload a short video pitch, while ThePoint is notable for its all-or-nothing approach – your supporters won’t get charged until you hit your fundraising goal.
  • Want to get donations?
    Youth Venture can take donations, providing your regional office is working with you. You can click here to donate to Youth Venture. You can put your instructions on who the donation is for in the "Comments" section.
